Bad boys, bad boys, what u wanna do?
No just kidding.
We were patrolling the East district, and now we are in the Central Ward

Hey World,

Whats going on????
I am on my way Downtown for my second night of riding patrols with the Newark Police Dept. Clergy Affairs Unit.

Stay tuned for updates during the ride

Good Morning

Good Morning World,
Thank God for another day....

Last night I went on my first "riding patrol" as an assistant chaplain for the Newark Police Dept. Clergy Affairs Unit.
I also was appointed "Official Photographer"
It is just another way to help reach out to our community, by serving.
It was quite an experience last night as we watched what the police officers have to face out on the streets at night.
God had His loving arms around us for the 3 hours that we "patrolled".
Lil Doug, Marie, and our Granddaughters will be coming up tomorrow to spend the weekend with us.
Well.....I'm about to hit the bricks.
Have a Blessed day.
Please say aprayer for my sister Gwen in Virginia, who is under the weather

Good Morning

Good Morning World,
Thank God for another day.....

I am sitting at Honda Service waiting for my oil change.
On my way to Honda, I stopped at the "Homemade Soup Spot" on Elizabeth Ave.
I never get to eat there because the place is so popular that they are sold out whenever I go.

I have the day off , so I got a cup of navy bean soup.....Umm Ummmm Goooood!
From what I hear, there is always a line at this place.
This picture above confirms that

I'm pretty excited about the WBGO gallery event this evening at 6.
Come on out and view our "Katrina Project"

Would you believe I just got news from Honda that I really need to have 15,000 mile service.
$250...but it's gotta be done.

Hey World,
would you believe I slept through the whole first half of this musical.
I should'nt have eaten before the show.
Wanda is really into it, because she saw the movie.
It's so funny, I am trying to slouch in my seat so the people around me won't know I am nodding.
I think it is working, because Wanda does'nt have a clue that I was sleep.

Soho Pic

Soho Restaurant

Hey World,
Wanda and I are eating at Soho Restaurant in New Brunswick.
We are going to the State Theatre to see RENT.
The food here is awesome.
We ate here once before when we saw Damon Wayans.
I had the open face angus prime rib sandwich...and Wanda had a shrimp po boy.
The restaurant is located on George St.,very close to the theatre.
Try it....You'll love it

Nephew Keith

Hey World,

Wanda sent me an image of our nephew Keith, who is now in the Army.
He is a smart, level headed young man with a great future ahead of him.

He looks dead SERIOUS in this image holding the weapon.

Being an Air Force Veteran myself, I can truly say that there is no better way to serve your Country, than volunteering to protect the freedom of others.

As bad as we may think we have it at times in this Country, there is no other place I would rather live.

We are Blessed!!!!

Good Morning World...
Thank God for another day
