Believe it or not I have been cutting my own hair since I was 15 years old .
I don't know why I started it ,but one day I just picked up my father's clippers and started cutting my hair .
Unfortunately my hairline was whack, and we just happened to be taking school ID pictures on that day, I think it was my sophomore year.
Sure some people laughed at me when I went to school in my hairline was really far back , but now I can't even imagine how much money I have saved in these last 35 years by never going to the barbershop .
The last time I went to a barber shop a haircut cost me $2.50
Even when I went into the Air Force I took my Clippers with me, and the only haircut I got from them was the very first one.
I tried to cut my hair before I left home but  unfortunately the Air Force cut it even shorter...LOL.
I remember back in the day in the very early 80's ,the hair style back then was the shag ,where you would have your hair cut low ,but then have a lot of hair in the back.
One time in the Air Force I tried to perm my little shag that I had and I went to work with it the next day.
My commanding officer immediately called me in the office that day when I got to work and made me go to get it cut .
As I walked back to my room on the base I could feel my hair blowing in the wind.
It was so funny
Of course I was able to cut it myself.
Even after having my dreads for 10 years I was able to resume cutting my own hair after I cut them. Read Story HERE
